TANGKAK: A farmer was mysteriously wounded on his back and
stomach while riding his motorcycle along Batu 16, Sengkang, near Bukit
Gambir here.
Ledang police chief Supt Harun Idris said the man,
aged about 30, was headed towards his farm when he felt blood oozing
from his stomach.
He said the man then returned home and drove a
car to a nearby clinic but was rushed to a medical centre in Malacca by
some friends after they saw his condition.
“We did not know what
had actually happened to the farmer, who had a wound on the back and
stomach, and will investigate the case.
“We have also sent the man's shirt to the forensic department to determine what had caused the wounds,” he said yesterday.
Supt
Harun said the man was still in trauma and reluctant to be interviewed
after the incident, which happened at about 5pm on Saturday.
