Boys missing for seven hours

THREE children went missing for seven hours on Aug 19.

Mohd Badruzzaman Azmi, 13, Mohd Firdaus, 10, and Mohamad Fitri, 6, were playing at an oil palm estate at Parit Jarum Laut in Muar. They were supposed to return home before the Mahgrib prayers, about 7pm or so.

When they did not return, their mother, Noraziah Khamis, 35, panicked.

"I looked for them at the oil palm estate, which was just behind the house, but they were nowhere to be seen.

"I called my husband and we got the villagers to search for them."

Her husband, Azmi Ali, 37, said about 100 villagers and police joined in the search for the boys.

They were found seven hours later near a factory, which was about 200m from their house.
