RM200,000 BISCUIT TRUCK STOLEN

MUAR: A truck driver was shocked when he went to his truck parked not far from his house and found the vehicle loaded with biscuits gone.

Goh You Koon, 40, from Taman Mulia in Bukit Gambir, said he suspected the truck was stolen between 3am and 4am yesterday.

He went home on Friday night and left the truck along a main road near his house but when he returned to the place at about 9am yesterday, it was no longer there.

One of my neighbours said the truck was there when he arrived home at about 1am.

“Since my neighbour saw the truck at around that time, I believed it was stolen between 3am and 4am,” he said.

Goh said the shipment was supposed to be delivered to Kuala Lumpur. He estimated the losses to be about RM200,000.

He said he had lodged a police report.
