The team, led by Anil Atan, accumulated 84 points, defeating the Parit Kerinci team led by Puhat Ahmad into second place, while the Melepang Gantian team led by Rashid Lias finished third.
In the Inforia Kenegaraan contest, M. Roslan emerged champion after defeating Ira Harun and Mulyadi Sukimin by singing two Malay Asli songs.
The three-day Semarak Johor programme was officially closed by Ledang member of parliament Hamim Samuri, who said that the programme had a big impact on the people of Ledang, who were provided with the latest information from the government.
He said the programme also inculcated a people-friendly approach as well as explained to the public the functions and responsibilities of the agencies and departments under the Ministry of Information, Communication and Culture.
"Unity must be preserved and all community leaders must work together to unify the people at the grassroots level so that there is harmony."
Also present were Ledang district officer Amran Abd Rahman and Johor Information director Almain Ajirul.
