BIKERS COLLIDE LEAVING ONE DEAD

A 43-YEAR-OLD security guard who was on his way home was killed when the motorcycle he was riding on collided with another motorcycle along Jalan Kampung Simpang 5 Darat near Ledang on Monday.

Mohamad Hussin Ahmad Dasuki, from Kampung Parit Pulai, succumbed to his injuries following the 6.10am accident. He reportedly suffered serious head and body injuries.

Initial investigations revealed that the victim was travelling in a Modenas Kriss motorcycle from Pekan Bukit Gambir when he collided head-on with a Yamaha motorcycle.


The rider and pillion of the other motorcycle, aged 19 and 20 respectively, were reported to be in serious condition and currently being warded at the Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital in Muar.

Hussin's remains were sent to Tangkak Hospital and claimed by family members for burial at the Serom 8 Muslim Cemetary.

A traffic police spokesman when contacted said investigators have classified the case under the Road Transport Act 1987.
