MUAR: A video recording from a mobile phone of two king cobras mating has become the talk of the district over the past two days.
The video, believed to have been shot by an Indonesian worker in a plantation near Bukit Gambir, has been distributed to many people here.
The Star office here also received a copy of the clip showing the two snakes, measuring more than 2m each, mating on a plantation road.
The 10-minute video clip does not show the end of the mating as the reptiles disappear into some bushes along the dirt road.
A resident who passed the video clip to The Star here said a tow-truck driver received the shot from an Indonesian worker in Bukit Gambir on Saturday.
The resident, who wished to be known only as Chin, said many people in Bukit Gambir and here had seen the clip and it had become a hot topic among the people.
The Indonesian worker who shot the video could not be located.
